Bengaluru, the state’s tech hub, has the most charging stations, making it super easy for EV drivers to power up. But it’s not just Bengaluru—285 charging stations are now in tier-2 cities like Mysuru and Hubballi, and 969 are in smaller tier-3 towns, bringing EV charging to more people.
This big growth is thanks to teamwork between the government, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom), and private companies. The FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) scheme by the central government is also helping by funding more charging stations and making EVs more popular.
